MailTank 1.2 Released
We have taken a big jump forward with our latest update to the MailTank application. As you probably already know, MailTank boasts a host of handy features to increase the efficiency of your group like message assignment, template responses, SMS delivery, and the built in mobile interface which allows people to log in using their hand held. But take a look at the list of the new features just added:
Rich Message Support. You can now create rich replies and message templates using either HTML or Markdown formatting to produce better message content.
Per Representative Signature. With up to 255 characters available, your signature can even include rich formatting.
Per Team Trailer. Also with up to 255 characters, a team signature be crafted using the same rich formatting and is appended to the end of every message.
Quick Reply Box. Now built into the message viewer, you can respond to messages with pre-made template replies even faster than before.
Reply Insertion. A huge time saver, when selecting a template reply in the message editor - the template is now inserted into the custom reply text area to allow for customization before sending. If it is good to go send it - if not you can tweak it.
Reply Editor w/Live Preview. Now you can craft stunning HTML or Markdown template replies and see exactly what the customer will see as you type! There is no better way to format rich content.
Live Server Monitor. Built on Web 2.0 technology the monitor updates every minute regardless of page refreshes. Now you can see the instant a server goes down.
Live Server Pings. You can ‘ping’ your server by clicking the red warning icon to send an instant ping to the server and update the status.
Live Ticketing. Now an option for teams that do not require it, MailTank’s ticketing number systems for issue tracking can now be toggled on or off to function just like a standard web-mail system. If you or your customers prefer ‘clean’ looking email responses without losing the communication thread.
Auto Responders. On a per team basis, an automatic response can be sent for every new message arriving that does not already have a ticket associated with it. The auto-response text can be customized or left as the default message (“Your message has been received and we will respond as soon as possible.”).
MailTank has always been super easy to use but now it can be even more like a standard web mail system. And all of the business critical features are still packed beneath the easy to use surface and are still 100% at your fingertips. The list goes on and on, but that is the updated set for now.
