Announcing MailTemplate 1.6
Today we released a new version of MailTemplate: Version 1.6! The new release includes a number of changes in the Template Editor, including integration with the Address Book. More importantly, a lot of ground work was laid to smooth the road for future development, and it is going to be a wide road!
On a separate note, as you may have heard Apple showed off the new features in Mac OS X 10.5 last week, including significant changes to Mail.
While anytime Apple makes significant changes to their products it can affect developers like ourselves, we see the changes they announced this year as very exciting. We see an opportunity to use the technology Apple announced this week to expand the functionality of MailTemplate and to further improve the productivity gains MailTemplate delivers for Mail users.
Mactank has been a proud member of the Mac community and frequent attendee of Macworld events since 1999. We expect to continue that proud tradition this January when we release MailTemplate 2.0 for Macworld San Francisco.
