MailTemplate on Snow Leopard - workaround!
Customers have been asking for MailTemplate on Snow Leopard. Unfortunately, Apple changed how dynamic contextual menus work in 64-bit application on Snow Leopard. This is a key feature for MailTemplate to work. Basically, dynamic contextual menu do not work in 64-bit applications on Snow Leopard.
Some industrious MailTemplate customers found that you can force Mail.app launch in 32-bit mode, which allows MailTemplate to work as it should!
Simply select Mail in the applications folder, choose Get Into from the File menu and the check Open in 32-bit mode.
If Mail is running quit and relaunch it to make sure its in 32-bit mode. MailTemplate will now work!
